Residents have the opportunity to rotate through the three teaching hospitals affiliated with UAMS: UAMS Medical Center, Arkansas Children’s Hospital and the John L. McClellan VA Medical Center. We have a state-of-the-art facility for outpatient care as well as cutting-edge laboratories and research facilities, including a 12-station temporal bone lab, all of which are available to our residents.

The UAMS Department of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery is a recognized leader in the field of otolaryngology. Our faculty have written numerous textbooks, book chapters, and countless publications. Our wide range of knowledge has an enormous impact on medical students and residents and on the national and international medical communities through our presentations at workshops and conferences.
